Sunday, December 22
Bring your Christmas goodies to share
before worship at 9:45 and 11 a.m.
We’ll enjoy snacking together in the entryway with the sparkle and joy of Christmas all around us. The tree will be lit and the poinsettias in place — it’s the perfect background for traditional carols and the story we all love best. If you have a friend or family member who might like to add this service to their Christmas festivities, please invite them to come with you — and please be especially aware of neighbors and newcomers who haven’t found a church in the area yet. They will be very welcome at LOFC, so please extend an invitation.
Tuesday, December 24
The church will be aglow this evening with carols, communion, and the traditional children’s procession as a very special part of this early evening service. As the familiar Christmas story is read, children are invited to bring sheep and donkeys, shepherds and angels, Mary and Joseph, and of course Baby Jesus to the stable.
This year for the very first time LOFC will offer a late evening service. As we gaze out over our own backyard and the peaceful field beyond, we’ll reflect upon the Christmas story, share communion, and stand in the Circle of Light that is Leap of Faith Church at this very special time of the year.
